Mock Trial Team Builds Its Case in Close Courtroom Contest

It was a close contest, with Kingston edging out Saugerties, 48–47. While the outcome was tough, our team showed preparation, poise, and teamwork throughout the evening.

Leaders nationwide are exploring new ideas to bring life back to these large buildings and turn them into spaces that serve today’s communities.

Saugerties High School students took the courtroom floor for their latest Mock Trial competition, presenting the case People vs. A. Carmen Erickson & Carson Blocker. The case centered on the alleged theft of used cooking oil, and our students worked hard to build strong arguments, question witnesses, and think on their feet.
