With only five team members competing against schools with teams of nearly 15 students, Saugerties placed 6th overall out of 7 teams—an impressive accomplishment for such a small but mighty group.

Our students also brought home medals in six events:

🏅 5th Place – Disease Detectives: Princesa Rodriguez and Lucas Hewitt

🏅 5th Place – Dynamic Planet: Vala Lawlor and Caleb Lisk

🏅 4th Place – Experimental Design: Princesa Rodriguez, Caleb Lisk and Evan Hewitt

🏅 4th Place – Potions and Poisons: Lucas Hewitt and Caleb Lisk

🏅 5th Place – Solar System: Vala Lawlor and Lucas Hewitt

We are incredibly proud of this dedicated group of Sawyers for their hard work, teamwork, and enthusiasm for science. Congratulations to all of our competitors!
