Supporting Our Saugerties Families
Working closely with school social workers, SESA members have come together to support families identified as needing a little extra help this year.
Each school building has adopted a family’s wish list, ensuring these families will receive thoughtful gifts that brighten their holidays. This incredible effort reflects the generosity and community spirit of our district.

Saugerties CSD honored John and Margaret (Peggy) Mullen during Ulster County School Boards Association's Distinguished Friend of Education Award. The Mullen's were one of 10 local recipients to be recognized for their efforts and support of our public schools.

Saugerties High School is proud to share that school counselor Dr. Michael Catalano has been named the 2025 School Counselor of the Year by the New York State School Counselor Association. The award was presented on November 14 at the NYSSCA Conference in Rochester, NY.
