Special Board of Education Meeting
Special Board of Education Meeting – Friday, July 25 at 3 PM
*** Please note: This meeting will not be streamed. And the Board will be going into executive session right away. The next board meeting will be held on August 12.
The Saugerties Central School District will hold a special in-person Board of Education meeting today, Friday, July 25, at 3 PM in the High School Media Center.
This meeting follows the District’s recent announcement regarding deeply troubling allegations involving an inappropriate relationship between a former staff member and a former student. We want to assure our community that we are treating this matter with the utmost seriousness.

A proud Saugerties graduate, DeCelle has dedicated decades to giving back—driven by a deep appreciation for the town that shaped his life. From his school days to his career, family, and continued volunteer efforts, his connection to Saugerties remains at the heart of everything he does.
