SCORE Store Continues
It all began with a spark of inspiration in the heart of a dedicated student during her Sociology class. Fueled by a desire to make a meaningful impact, she embarked on a journey to create a haven of compassion – a free store. Initially stocked with non-perishable food items, this endeavor aimed to extend a helping hand to those in need.
Today, that humble store has evolved and returned, resilient and more potent than ever before.
So, what awaits you within these walls of goodwill? A treasure trove of essentials:

And here's the most remarkable part – it's all absolutely FREE!

This fall, Saugerties High School celebrated the induction of alumna Sarah Thornton into the Section IX Track and Field Hall of Fame.

Saugerties retirees and members of the Delta Kappa Gamma international organization composed of women educators, recently demonstrated their commitment to their former school community by collecting a car full of non-perishable food items for the Saugerties backpack program.

'Tis the season of giving, and what better way to spread the holiday cheer than by coming together to support our local community and The SCORE Store! The SCORE Store was born out of an idea that was generated in one of our Sociology classes, where students initiated the process of creating a "Give What You Can/Free" Store for the students and families of the Saugerties Central School District.
