New Board of Education Members are Sworn In.

But wait, there's more!  We are thrilled to welcome our new trustees, Katie Emerson Hoss (who also previously served on the Board of Education), Sakinah Irazirry, and Michael Meyers, who officially started their terms on July 1. They took their oaths of office and are all set to make a big impact on our school community. Plus, the Board approved Virginia Carney as District Clerk! 

Let's come together and give everyone a warm Sawyer welcome! They bring a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our Board of Education. We can't wait to work with them to ensure the success and growth of our students.

During National Volunteer Week (April 19-25), the Saugerties Central School District would like to take a moment to celebrate the incredible volunteers who make a difference in our school community every day.

Today we proudly recognize Greg DeCelle for his longstanding commitment to serving the community he calls home. A proud Saugerties graduate, DeCelle has dedicated decades to giving back—driven by a deep appreciation for the town that shaped his life. From his school days to his career, family, and continued volunteer efforts, his connection to Saugerties remains at the heart of everything he does.
