We’re excited to launch the second spotlight in a new recognition series called the True Sawyer Blue Teammate of the Month!

Saugerties High School art students have been visiting local artists’ studios this fall to learn more about the creative process and the work of artists in our community. Through a partnership between the SHS Art Department and the Saugerties Arts Commission, students are exploring how art is created and discovering new ways to express themselves.

Students at Saugerties High School recently got a taste of something new—freshly baked Whole Wheat Sandwich Loaf bread made right here in the Hudson Valley!

On game days, most people watch the scoreboard. Athletic Trainer Nathaniel “Nate” Reynaud watches the athletes. During the Mum Bowl on Saturday, October 4, the Saugerties Sawyers battled the Dover Dragons under intense heat. While the crowd celebrated big plays, Nate stayed focused on the sidelines—ready for whatever came his way.

We are proud to celebrate Business Teacher Ian Cooper, who has recently been honored with the Marsha W. Iverson Award for New Business Teachers and the Business Teachers Association of New York State (BTANYS) Innovations Grant!
