The Saugerties Central School District proudly announces Sahil Sekhon as the Valedictorian and Michele Loebbaka as the Salutatorian of the Class of 2024. "We are incredibly proud of Sahil and Michele for their outstanding achievements, both academically and within the community," said Saugerties High School Principal Tom Martelli.

As we get ready to close out Poetry month we would be remiss if we didn't give a big shout out to two of our juniors, Ally Argueta and Ciara Rourke, for shining bright at the Woodstock Public Library's Second Annual Michael Perkins Poetry Prize Awards Ceremony!

Thursday, April 18, marked a significant milestone for the Saugerties Senior High School, as seventy-five exceptional students were officially inducted into the prestigious National Honor Society (NHS).

On Thursday, April 18, several students from Jaime Rabideau's Creative Writing class and members of the Poetry Club, along with School Librarian Sari Grandstaff marked National Poetry Month by joining the annual Sofia & Herbert Reuner Library Writers Series and Ellen Robbins Poetry Forum at SUNY Ulster, alongside peers from various districts across the county.
